These Terms apply when you use or purchase from the Ask Katy online store. Ask Katy is operated by Kathleen Louise Platt, sole trader trading as Ask Katy. Contact: hello@askkaty.co. Business correspondence address: Ask Katy, Suite 791, 80A Ruskin Ave, Welling, DA16 3QQ, United Kingdom.

Using the store

By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally able to enter into the purchase. Product descriptions, prices, delivery information and any important conditions will be shown before checkout.

We may correct genuine pricing or listing errors and may refuse or cancel an order where there is a clear error, suspected fraud, misuse of the store or another lawful reason. If we cancel a paid order, any amount due back to you will be refunded.

Digital content

Digital products are supplied for your personal use unless a product page clearly says otherwise. You may not resell, redistribute, upload, copy for commercial use or share paid Ask Katy digital files with others without permission.

Where you request immediate access to digital content, checkout must obtain your express agreement for supply to begin immediately and your acknowledgement that the statutory 14 day cancellation right is lost once access or download begins, where applicable.

Physical products

Physical products are subject to availability. Delivery options, costs and estimated delivery times will be shown before payment. Your statutory rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods are not affected by these Terms.

Personal readings

Personal psychic and tarot readings are not sold through this Shopify checkout. They are booked and carried out through Psychic World and are also subject to the terms and policies of that platform.

Readings are spiritual and reflective services. They do not replace qualified medical, legal, financial, mental health or other professional advice. No particular future outcome can be guaranteed.

Ask Katy content

Audios, journals, workbooks, affirmations and other Ask Katy content are intended for reflection, encouragement and general wellbeing support. They are not a substitute for professional diagnosis, treatment or advice.

Your privacy

Privacy is central to Ask Katy. The contents of personal readings are treated with care and discretion and are not discussed with other people for unrelated purposes unless disclosure is legally required.

Intellectual property

The Ask Katy name, original written content, audio content, graphics and digital products remain the intellectual property of their respective owner or licensor. Purchasing a product gives you the right to use it personally; it does not transfer copyright or other ownership rights.

Promotions

Discounts, free gifts and promotional offers may have specific conditions or end dates. We will make material conditions clear when the offer is presented.

Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including your statutory consumer rights. To the extent permitted by law, Ask Katy is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made or for losses arising from using spiritual or reflective content as a substitute for professional advice.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the store develops. The version applying to an order is the version made available when that order is placed.

Law and complaints

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales, without taking away any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you where you live.

If you have a problem with an order, please contact hello@askkaty.co so we can try to resolve it.
